BRADENTON – During Tuesday's meeting, the BOCC will vote on an amendment that would permit residents to keep trailers and RVs on their property while their homes are being rebuilt from a natural disaster. A summary on the two public health care workshops will also be presented. That same day, the Manatee School Board will review its drafted Strategic Plan for the final time, as well as go over the board's proposed budget, and budgets for administration's Instructional Services and Operations departments. The Bradenton City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday to vote on a resolution that would request FDOT temporarily close local roads for the Powerboat Regatta event. Public hearings on the county's use of red light cameras will be held in the BOCC chambers on Thursday. Also on Thursday, the Manatee Port Authority will convene for a meeting.
