This Week in Local Government: June 2-6, 2014

BRADENTON – The Palmetto City Commission will hold a workshop (with public hearings on ordinances regulating pain management clinics and medical marijuana dispensaries) and a regular meeting on Monday. The BOCC will follow suit on Tuesday, with a regular meeting in the morning (with a presentation on the county's use of red traffic light cameras) and a health care work session in the afternoon; they will meet again on Wednesday for a budget presentation. The Bradenton City Council will workshop on Wednesday. A BOCC Land Use Meeting will take place on Thursday, and the Tourist Development Council will meet on Friday.
