This Week in Local Government: March 11-15, 2013

BRADENTON – It's Spring Break for most local government boards this week. The Board of County Commissioners will host its first regular meeting of the month on Tuesday morning where they will vote on moving forward with a referendum on a new surtax for indigent healthcare. The Bradenton City Council will meet on Wednesday morning. The Manatee County Planning Commission will conclude this week's government meeting schedule when they convene in the BOCC Chambers on Thursday.
