BRADENTON – Manatee County Government offices will be closed for Memorial Day. The Manatee School Board will vote on approval of a two-year extension to Superintendent Rick Mills's contract, as well as amendments to the contract, during its regular meeting on Tuesday. The Bradenton City Council will hold a regular meeting Wednesday evening, when it is set to vote on approval of revisions to the retirement system for city police officers. The BOCC will have a budget presentation on Thursday.
