This Week in Local Government: September 16-20, 2013

BRADENTON – The Palmetto City Commission has a tentative date set for a budget meeting on Monday evening. The BOCC will convene for two work sessions Tuesday, and the Manatee School Board will have a continuation of its public hearing and vote on the district's 2013-14 budget that evening. On Wednesday at 5 p.m., the Bradenton City Council will hold a final public hearing on the city's 2013-14 budget and millage rate, and the Manatee Port Authority will have a regular meeting on Thursday morning.
