BRADENTON – The Manatee School Board's scheduled workshop for Monday afternoon has been cancelled; the board's regular meeting and final public hearing on the district's 2013-14 budget will still commence at 5:45 p.m. that day. On Tuesday, the BOCC will vote on an ordinance that would expand the boundaries of the Heritage Harbour North Community Development district and discuss a list of issues to consider for the county's 2014 State Legislative Platform. The Bradenton City Council will have a regular meeting on Wednesday morning, followed by a first reading and public hearing of the city's 2013-14 budget and millage rate at 5 p.m.
