This Week in Manatee Governments, September 13-17

MANATEE COUNTY -- Local governments are in full swing this week. The City of Palmetto will hold a public meeting regarding the property tax rate and the school board holds a regular meeting, both on Monday. The City of Bradenton Planning Commission meeting is canceled. On the county side, there is a regular BCC meeting on Tuesday and a Port Authority meeting this Thursday at Port Manatee. The county will also host a public hearing on the budget Thursday evening.
