Ronald R. Blais, Bradenton, died March 16, 2014. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and he was a Veteran of the US Navy. Survived by former wife, Roxanne of Bradenton, FL; sons, David (Sally) of Holland, MA and Dan (Deborah) of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Amanda (Alan) Lyons of Monson, MA; 5 granddaughters; 4 great granddaughters.

Lois Guthrie Fulford died March 16, 2014. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Cortez, FL to Earl B. Guthrie and Hazel Williams Guthrie. She was a lifelong Manatee County resident and a 3rd generation Floridian. Lois was a member of the Cortez Church of Christ and a Charter Member of the former Cortez Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She was a faithful Christian, a devoted wife, a firm but loving mother, a passionate gardener and a fabulous cook.

Lois was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Ralph M. Fulford and a grandson, Brian Bailey. Lois is survived by her sister, Addie Lou Coon (Eddie) of Sarasota; her son, Ralph ''Rusty'' Fulford (Pat) of Scottsville, VA; her daughters, Hazel Petree (Steve) of Cortez, and Sylvia Bailey (Tony) of Bradenton; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation 2:00-4:00PM Sunday March 23, 2014 and Services 10:30AM Monday March 24, 2014 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. Phyllis K. Herbert, 72, Bradenton, died March 15, 2014. Survived by daughter, Vicki, brother, Larry, & 6 grandchildren, No Services. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel in charge. Condolences www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.

William Charles Howell, born September 1, 1923 went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2014 He was born in Plainfield, NJ. He served in the US Navy during World War II in both the Atlantic and  Pacific Theaters as a Gunner's Mate First Class on the West Texas and the SS Eugene Fields. He had a long career in the newspaper business and was a Journeyman Machinist at the Newark Evening News for many years. He moved to Bradenton in 1976 and retired from the Sarasota Herald Tribune in1989 after serving as their Facilities Superintendent for 13 years. He moved to Allentown, PA in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, football and vacationing with his  family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary and his son, Robert. He is survived  by his sons, William C. Howell, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ellen of Palatine, IL, John T. Howell and his wife, Pattie of Sarasota, FL, daughters Nancy A. Rosenberg and her husband, Gary of Bradenton, FL and Kathleen Perdick and her husband, Michael of Allentown, PA. "Pop" will be missed by his  grandchildren, Thomas A. Yannitte, Jeffrey S. Perdick  and his wife, Penny,  William C Howell III, David M. Perdick, Timothy M. Vella, Lisa M. Simpkins and her husband, Mark, Michelle E. Malone and her husband, Anthony, Gregory W. Howell, John H.  Howell and his wife, Jen, Tory J. Vella and his wife, Nicole, Michael A. Howell and  great-grandchildren, Brie Yannitte, Shane and Kelsey Simpkins, Mariska, Peyton, and Austin Perdick, Teddy and Tony Malone, Lilly  Vella, Devyn Bridges, Lexie and Jase Howell and Alyssa Grimes. He is also survived by his sister, Vera Importico,  his brother and sister-in-laws, Mike and Judy Zampello and many nieces and nephews.

Auy H. Lam, 58, Bradenton, died March 14, 2014. Born in Cambodia she moved to Bradenton in 1975 and was employed as an assembler at Eaton Corp. Survived by husband, Se Lam; daughters, Viet L., Shena A., and Kelly all of Bradenton, FL.

Alan ''Big Al'' Mario Marcado, 34, Bradenton, died March 12, 2014. Born in Hazel Crest, Illinois he was originally from Park Forest, Illinois when he moved to Bradenton in 1990 from Ft Lauderdale, FL.

He worked for Walmart for 10 years and was a member of The Source Church of Bradenton. Survived by mother, Sara A. Moore of Sarasota, FL; father, Edward A. Marcado of Bradenton, FL; brother, Nick (Nikki) Marcado of Bradenton, FL; fraternal grandmother, Jeanette Capriotti of Steger, IL; nieces, Jasmine and Branna.
