Rev. James ''Jim'' Killoran, 80, Bradenton, died March 26, 2014. Born in Little Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin he moved to Bradenton in 1957 and was a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. After eight years of full time ministry in Hollywood, Florida, he moved back to Bradenton in 1971.  He served in many lay capacities at First Baptist Bradenton while he continued to run his own business, Killoran Plastering.
Prior to accepting a full time position as pastor for Palma Sola Bay Baptist Church, he served as an interim pastor of Sarasota Baptist church for one year. In 1985 he accepted the call to pastor Palma Sola Bay Baptist where he served for thirteen years following one year as their interim pastor for a total of 14 years with that church.  During his tenure the church saw 712 baptized and welcomed 847 members.  He performed 81 weddings, 96 funerals, and led the church to become debt free after many years of financial indebtedness.  
When his first wife's health began to fail, he retired as pastor of Palma Sola Bay Baptist Church. After her death, he married Marcia Callahan and accepted the pastorate of North West Baptist Church where he served for eight years until his full retirement in 2012.
Predeceased by his first wife of 50 years, JoAnn Reding Killoran and his sons, Jeffrey Jerome and James Edward, Jr.; siblings, Maxine Vanderplass, Colleen Kolb, and Grant Killoran. Survived by wife, Marcia of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Judy (Mark) LaRowe of Palmetto, FL, Julie (George) DeSear of Bradenton, FL and Janet (Rex) Huffine of Bradenton, FL; brother,  Pat Killoran of Green Bay, WI; sisters, Dorothy West of Green Bay, WI and Frances Beimborn of Bradenton, FL; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation 3:00-4:00PM Thursday April 3, 2014 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Bradenton. Dorothy E. Cavicchi, 85, Bradenton, died March 26, 2014. Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts she moved to Bradenton in 1987 from Quincy, Massachusetts. She was a Science Teacher at Sterling Junior High School in North Quincy and North Quincy High School and she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Predeceased by her parents Henry F. and Emily A. (Martel) Cavicchi; survived by brother, Wilbur of Bradenton, FL; sisters, Helen Collins of Bradenton, FL, Eileen Masse of Bradenton, FL and Yvonne Skinner of Portland, ME; several nieces and nephews.

Era Ruby Kemp, 89, Bradenton, died March 25, 2014. Born in Swandale, West Virginia she moved to Bradenton in 1974 from St. Paris, OH and she was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Bradenton.

Survived by sons, James N., Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Dean of New York City, NY, Donn of Marysville, OH, Gregg of Stremwood, IL and Brian of Orlando, FL; daughters, Beth Saalmann of Bradenton, FL and Donna Kemp of Powell, OH; brother, Jerry Legg of Frametown, WV; sisters, Bonnie Shaver of Richwood, WV and Maude Barnes of The Villages, FL; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Albert W. Biondi, 90, Palmetto, died March 21, 2014. Born in St. Davids, PA he moved to Palmetto in 1989 from South Windsor, CT and Stafford Springs, CT. A graduate of Bucknell University, he was a Veteran of the US Army E.T.O. during World War II, he owned Snelling & Snelling Employment Agency of Hartford, CT and he attended St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Palmetto.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gaetano and Sarefina; brother, Guido; sisters, Rose Colona and Dolly Miscigna; granddaughter, Megan Twitchell; survived by his wife, Lucille of Palmetto, FL; daughters, Denise (Bruce) Banks of Long Island, NY, Gail (Harvey) Pond of Avon, CT; sisters, Mary D'Antonio of Atlanta, GA, Edith LaFredo of PA, Sunday Dimenna of PA, Virginia (Charles) Amerant of PA; sister-in-law, Gloria Biondi of PA; brother-in-law, Marty Misigna of PA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Davis Fernandez, 73, Anna Maria, FL died March 23, 2014. Born in Miami, FL she moved to Anna Maria, FL in 1983. Predeceased by her parents, Vallie Marshall and Katherine May (Hammond) Davis; husband, Captain U. S. Merchant Marine Retired, Julian M. Fernandez; and many nieces and nephews.

Henry “Jap” Adams, 92 of Bradenton entered into rest peacefully on March 23, 2014. He served in the US Army with George Patton’s 3rd Army, through North Africa, Italy, Sicily, Germany, and France and was at the Battle of the Bulge. After his military career he came back to Cortez, Florida where he was born and raised and became a commercial fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, two brothers, Clyde of Florida and Cleve of California, one sister, Mable of Sarasota, one son, Ernie of Bradenton, two granddaughters, Ronda (Chris) Bishop of Parrish and Shelby (David) Pittman of Ft. White, FL, one grandson, Derrick (Jacquelyn) Adams of Myakka, seven great-grandchildren, Amanda McCain of Ellenton, Rayna & Christopher Bishop of Parrish, Sarah, Savannah, David and Clayton Pittman of Ft. White.

Visitation 9:30am and Services following at 10:00am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at West Bradenton Baptist Church, 1305 43rd Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209. Burial will follow at Fogartyville Cemetery. Katherine Saba, 83, Bradenton, died March 23, 2014. Born in Mize, MS she moved to Bradenton in 1970 from Newport News, VA and she was a Methodist. Survived by sons, Mike (Susie) of Ft. Myers, FL and Mark of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Konieczny of Bradenton, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
