Robert E. Maroney, 67, of Largo, Florida passed away at the Largo Medical Center after a brief illness on May 14, 2014, while surrounded by his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Maryanne Stagnita, his brother, Patrick Maroney and Lois Maroney of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his brother, John James Maroney of Oswego NY; step daughter and husband, Therese and Tom Williams; their children, Kacey and Nicholas; nephew and wife, Daniel and Sara Maroney; their children, Logan and Elyse; niece and husband, Meghan (Maroney) Clary and Matthew Clary; their children, Chase and Elle.

Funeral Services will be held at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor, FL on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209 in charge of arrangements.

Lillie Ruth Sailes,  74, of Palmetto, passed May 7, 2014. The family will receive friends Friday, May 16, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Abundant Favor Mortuary, 916 13th Street W, Bradenton, 941-747-2700.  Service will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. John 1st Inst Baptist Church, 1108 29th Street East, Palmetto

John Joseph Dwyer, 86, of Sarasota, passed away on May 9, 2014. Born in New York, New York, he served in the Army Air Corps. He later moved to Ridgefield Park, New Jersey with his wife, Dorothea. While raising his family there, John worked as a letter carrier in New York for thirty-six years, with a portion of his route including the Empire State Building. He retired to Florida in 1983 and worked part-time for Sears.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Dorothea, to whom he was married for fifty-one years. He is survived by his daughters Christina Dwyer and Elizabeth Rice. John was the proud grandfather to Rachel and Rebecca Rice. John loved to swim, sing, dance and read. He was an accomplished swimmer and served as Captain of his swim team in High School.

John belonged to the Club Dominicana and performed for the local dances that were held there. John will always be remembered as a kind and loving man, one who loved to joke and laugh and who enjoyed connecting with people.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Martha?s Catholic Church. 200 North Orange Avenue Sarasota, FL 34236. Jean G. Russell, 60, Ellenton, died May 12, 2014. Born in Mt. Ida, Arkansas she moved to Ellenton in 2013 from Citrus County, Florida.
Survived by son, Thomas Shepherd of Ellenton, FL; daughter, April (Jason) Fisher of Palmetto, FL; grandchildren, Christy & Christian Shepherd of Tennessee and Riddick & Mikayla Fisher of Palmetto, FL.

Margery L. Miles, 95, Bradenton died May 9, 2014, Born in Swampscott, MA she moved to Bradenton in 2002 from Sarasota, FL. She attended Skidmore College in Sarasota Springs, NY, she was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Sarasota, a Girl Scout Leader in Sheepshead, MA, a member of the garden club of Marblehead, MA and the Meadows Country Club, and she was a volunteer at Salem Massachusetts Hospital.

Predeceased by parents, James R. and Lena L. (White) Maddock; husband, Col. Robert A. Miles, Jr.; survived by daughter, Cheri Hunter of Bradenton, FL; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Todd D. Brown, 49, Bradenton, died May 9, 2014. Born in Alpena, MI he moved to Bradenton in 1972. A Veteran of the US Marine Corps, he was a salesman for Bill Graham Ford. later Autoway Ford of Bradenton, FL and most recently for Wilde Lexus of Sarasota, FL and he attended Bayside Christian Church.

Survived by son, Stirling of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Ashley of Bradenton, FL; father George D. of Franklin, NC; mother, Betty Jean Green of Sarasota, FL; brothers, Troy of Bradenton, FL and Tim of Bradenton, FL; half-sister, Lacee Green of CA; grandchildren, Hazel and Roman George.

D. Todd Perry, 55, a lifelong resident of Bradenton, due to surgical complications and after a very long fight, lost his battle at Moffitt Medical Center on May 10, 2014 at 9:30PM. A Veteran of the US Marine
Corps (Corporal 1981-1985), he had a love for fishing and being on the water. He served as a dedicated Publix Meat Dept. Mgr. who had a tremendous love for his family and was a loyal son, brother, and uncle.

Survived by his companion, Donna Soper of Venice, FL; parents, Ronald L. and Eleanor J. (Nash) Perry of Bradenton, FL; brothers, Matt of Bradenton, FL, Joe (Diane) of Williamstown, KY and Tim (Tracy) of Gulfport, MS; sister, Roni Sue (Phil) Carrington of Bradenton, FL; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation 5-7PM Thursday, May 15th with Services to follow at 7PM, Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street, Bradenton, FL 34209 and a Graveside Inurnment with Military Honors at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 SR 72, Sarasota at 1:30 Friday, May 16th.
