Janie Lynn Thielen, 62, Bradenton, FL passed away September 12, 2014. She moved to Bradenton in 1990 from Miami, FL.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 44 years, John Patrick “Pat” Thielen. four children: daughter, Sharon Marie (Stephen) Ogline and their children, Taylor, Nicholas, Kacey, Joshua, and Madison; son, John Patrick Thielen, Jr.; uncle, Bill Biggerstaff; daughter- Jennifer Ann (David) France and their daughters, Lauren and Kristen; son, Adam Gregory (Marissa) Thielen and Christian. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister.

Janie was a proud retired Crossing Guard for over 21 years with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. She also served as a Crossing Guard in Miami for three years prior moving to Bradenton. Janie was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church and formerly of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held, Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 6-8PM at Brown &Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34207. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:00AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 833 Magellan Drive, Sarasota, FL 34243. Emma J. LaSota, 97, Bradenton, died September 6, 2014.

Emma was predeceased by her beloved husband, Chester; she is survived by her son, Dennis (Kathy) LaSota of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Janis (Ron) Morgan of Dublin, OH; son, Chester D. LaSota of Waukesha, WI; 15 loving grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Emma and Chester raised their children in Chicago, IL, later moving to Wisconsin and for the past 19 years took up residence in Bradenton, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30AM Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
