Thomas Everett Clune was born on November 4th, 1941, in Gary, Indiana to his dear mother Eleanor and father John Clune. Thomas had five siblings including John Clune (deceased)Terrance Clune, James Clune, Eleanor Clune, and Mary Kay Arroyo. Thomas married Rosemary Clune on November 24th, 1962. Thomas and Rosemary had two loving children, Susan Murphy (Tim Murphy), and David Clune (Shirly Clune).
Thomas worked for many years as a carpenter and eventually began working in Chicago Public Schools. He worked at Westinghouse High School, and Farragut High School where he taught Woodworking and Shop classes. Thomas created many pieces for his family members over the years. Thomas enjoyed retirement with Rosemary for several years before moving to Bradenton in 2016 to be closer to his family.
Thomas is survived by his children and his grandchildren, Jessica Hamel (Mark Hamel), Rachel Stout (Augustus Stout), Joseph Clune, and great grandchild Otto Hamel, as well as many nieces and nephews. Thomas will always be regarded as a loving man who cared deeply for his family and those around him with actions of love, appreciation, and creativity. He will be deeply missed.
