August 21, 1940 - March 3, 2025
Born and raised in SW Virginia, Tom went on to Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. His career took him to the Shipbuilding Industry, before starting his own Consulting firm. Tom retired to Florida in 2016, where he was able to relax and enjoy his view, from his favorite, peaceful place.
Tom will be missed by his beloved wife of 43 years, JoAnn and his entire family. Brother Carol "Bud" Frazier (Diane), daughters Lynn Chandler (Kevin Madigan), Kara Chandler, son Thomas, and his bonus children Kim Mierchuk (Mark), Ken Kindler (Teresa M), Jeffrey Kindler, and Lisa Holmberg. Additionally, Grandpa Tom will be missed by his grandkids/bonus-grandkids; Brian Shall, Taylor James, Jeremy Kindler (Karine), Alison Slack (Mike), Rachael Haar (Matt), and Sean Mierchuk, five great-grandkids and two bonus great-grandkids.
Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bradenton, Florida on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be held in the Parish Hall following the service.
