Posted

ELLENTON -- U.S. Olympic figure skaters Amanda Evora and Mark Ladwig are ranked right in the middle after their short program performance on Feb. 14 at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Evora and Ladwig are now ranked 10 out of 20 with a score of 57.86.

U.S. Olympic figure skaters Caydee Denney and Jeremy Barrett are ranked 14 out of 20. Their score following the short program was 53.26.

Brett Kaplan, a spokesman for Ellenton Ice and Sports, the facility where both pairs of figure skaters practiced and trained, said they will perform tonight around 8 p.m. in the pairs free skating program.

Scores for the figure skaters will be averaged between the short program and tonight's free skating to identify who gets a medal.

Currently, China is ranked at the top after the Chinese team of Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo scored 76.66 in yesterday's short program.
