After 42 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my loving husband, Victor J. Scarlino. Victor and I met in the early 1980s and fell in love instantly. He was the light of my life, a wonderful man, and I will miss him dearly.
Victor did not have children of his own, so he heartfully adopted his stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and valued the sense of family they brought to his life. He was kind and loving, and it was important to him to always make sure we knew how much he loved us.
Victor had a great sense of humor and was a long-time Yankees fan. He genuinely appreciated every single one of the home-cooked meals I prepared for him, which made it a joy for me to provide. I will miss laughing with him!
Victor will celebrate his 81st birthday this June 17th in heaven. He is survived by his older brother, Louis Scarlino. He is happy now and no longer suffering. May God bless him and hold him safely in his arms. No services are scheduled at this time.
