Victoria DePalmer

Victoria W. "Vicky" DePalmer (89) of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2026. She was surrounded by her family who rejoice in her life and are comforted by her being reunited with her Heavenly Father, her husband of 62 years Mike Sr., their son Mike, Jr. and their still born baby boy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and dedicated her life to the Lord through many years of Bible study, church activities and community services.

She served as a library worker at the West Bradenton Baptist Church in Bradenton, Florida and also served 14 years as a volunteer at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Bible Printing Ministry in Oliver Springs, Tennessee after moving to Knoxville from Florida in 2004. Vicky became a member of West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville in 2004. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Guy Walter and Frances Davant Walter. She leaves behind beloved children and their spouses; Michelle (Bob) Williams, Joseph (Cindy) DePalmer, David DePalmer; grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Crow, Logan DePalmer, Rhyne (Olivia) Williams, Caitlyn Williams, Harrison DePalmer and Henry DePalmer; great grandchildren, Davis Crow, Audrey Crow and Ellison Crow. Vicky had an undying faith and commitment to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and considered the highest honor a woman could receive was that of being a wife and mother. She graduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in Home Economics in 1959.

She was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority and served as rush chairman. Vicky and her twin sister, Mary, were members of the Florida State Flying High Circus during their years at FSU and performed a bicycle act reserved for sets of identical twins. She was a member of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina, founded in 1885. There will be a private family service at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
