VIDEO: Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

BRADENTON – As of Friday, state officials had attributed 21 deaths in Florida to Hurricane Ian. Emergency crews continued to search obliterated homes and buildings in Lee and Charlotte counties, where many residents were trapped by storm surge, throughout the weekend. To make matters worse, meteorologists are predicting above-normal storm activity for the next two weeks in the Atlantic.

Hurricane Ian is now said to rank among the five worst hurricanes to ever have hit Florida. Nearly 2 million Floridians lost power during the storm, with many continuing to experience outages. The Florida National Guard released a number of storm videos taken during relief efforts, which can be accessed below.
