Jack's Jammers is a musical group made up of Palmetto Mobile Home Club residents. Understand: the point of this group is to have fun playing and singing. Quality musicianship is not required to join. And on March 15, 2010, they opened the Palmetto City Commission meeting with their original composition, "Oldies from Palmetto."
"The tune may sound a little like 'Okie from Muskogee,'" Jack warned.
And it did.
