Every April a group of volunteers cleans the banks of Wares Creek, which runs through the center of Bradenton, Florida. This is a Keep Manatee Beautiful project, one of many that take place in Manatee County not only the week before Earth Day, but throughout the year.
Why do they do it? As one volunteer told us while we were making this video, "because it's the right thing to do."
