Village Bluegrass Fest returns to VOTA this Weekend

BRADENTON – Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen's second annual Village Bluegrass Festival will kick off in the Village of the Arts in downtown Bradenton this Friday evening. Saturday's all-day music line-up begins at 1 p.m.
If you are a fan of bluegrass, Americana, and folk, this is an event you won't want to miss! Chef Dave Shiplett, owner of VOTA's Cottonmouth and Birdrock Taco, is bringing together six of the area's most beloved bluegrass/folk bands for the second annual event. The festival of bluegrass officially kicks off on Friday evening with a performance by The Applebutter Express at 7 p.m.
Bands will perform on the outdoor garden patio stage of VOTA's Cottonmouth Kitchen, located at 1114 12th Street West, Bradenton. Admission to Friday's show is $5 per person. Admission to Saturday's performances is also $5 per person with the cost covering attendance to the entire day's line-up.
