Village of The Arts to Host Small Business Saturday Event Nov. 25

BRADENTON — The Village of the Arts will offer an opportunity for some stress-free shopping while supporting local businesses at its "Small Business Saturday" event on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

"Folks are realizing the importance and necessity of community, and the backbone of community is the treasure of businesses owned, staffed, and operated by our neighbors," said VOTA Events Committee Co-Chair Dawn Collins in a press release announcing the event.

Whether you are looking for stocking stuffers or unique gifts for the hard-to-shop-for on your list, there will be plenty of wares you won't find elsewhere. The event will also include the 3rd Annual Village of the Arts Shop Small Scavenger Hunt.

Pick up a Shop Small Scavenger Hunt entry form at the corner of 11th Ave. W. & 12th St. W. and go on a hunt to find the 17 participating galleries, shops, and artist studios. Drop your completed entry form at the end of the day for a chance to win the Shop Small Prize Bag filled with unique art and gifts from the galleries and studios, valued at over $200.
