Virginia Grubbs

Virginia Leslie Jordan "Ginny Grubbs" 58, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024, at her cabin in the serene Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia. Born on May 7, 1966, to Ronnie and Dixie Grubbs. Virginia grew up in Bradenton, Florida, and graduated from Bradenton Christian School before continuing her education at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida.

She got her Cosmetology License in Bradenton, along with many other licenses including insurance, and as an insurance adjuster. Virginia loved learning and worked a variety of jobs. She enjoyed working with people in which her kindness and caring nature genuinely shone through.

Known for her generosity and loyalty, she was a beacon of light in the lives of so many.

Virginia had a profound love of animals, always opening her home to stray pets. Virginia also had a passion for traveling and cherished her time spent visiting friends and family, spreading joy and laughter wherever she went.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her forgiving and fun spirit.

Virginia is survived by two sons, Silas Jordan and Reed Jordan; her parents, Ronnie and Dixie Grubbs; her sister, Barbara Grubbs. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Virginia was preceded by her son, Lane Austin Jordan.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm at Brown and Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th street chapel, 5624 26th Street W Bradenton, FL 34207 followed by A Celebration of Life at 3pm.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to The Childhood Leukemia Foundation (https://www.cif4kids.org), Bishop Animal Shelter SPCA, 5718 21st Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34209, and American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org).
