Want to Bring Home a Rescue Dog?


BRADENTON – Ever considered adopting a rescue dog but weren't sure where to start? The Manatee County Central Library will present the program “How to Bring Home a Rescue Dog” next week where representatives from Good Citizen Dog Training and Moonracer No Kill Animal Rescue will provide attendees with information on the unique issues related to adopting a rescue pet.

Speakers will discuss what makes a rescue dog different, their common behavior problems, transitioning the dog from shelter life to home life, and more. The program is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14 at 2 P.M. Admission is free. No registration is required.
