BRADENTON -- The Wares Creek project will once again be discussed, this time by the
BOCC, who will vote on the storm water improvement project and eminent domain takings related to its completion. The authorization for the installation of a multi-way stop at the intersection of Riverview Boulevard and 47th Street Northwest will also go to a vote.
The board will execute multiple funding agreements with non-profit agencies serving children and other sectors in the amounts and respective funding sources listed in the agenda memorandum (click
here to read).
The board is also scheduled to appoint four members and one alternate to the Code Enforcement Board, and accept a letter of resignation from alternate board member Barry M. Grooms, while also appointing two members to two vacant Special Magistrate positions.
Administrator Jennifer Bencie, MD, MSA and Thomas Larkin, Environmental Manager, Manatee County Health Department are scheduled to give a presentation on Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems and Wells.
