BRADENTON – It's Father's Day and whether Dad favors baseball, free beer or all-you-can-eat pancakes, you can get it close by. This weekend, there's the FSL Minor League All-Star Game and a couple of restaurants offering deals sure to get Dad's mouth watering. So, grab the old man and get him out of the house. It's time for a Father's Day Weekend Adventure in Bradenton!
On Saturday night, take dad for a short ride up the road to Dunedin for the 2013 Florida State League All-Star Game. Three members of our local Marauders squad will be among the stars of tomorrow on display at the winter home of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The best players in the Minor League High A division will play a North vs. South, 9-inning game. There will be a home run derby at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks after the game.

Pier 22 is known for their Mother's Day brunch, but this Sunday it's all about Dad! All fathers dining at Pier 22 this Father’s Day will receive their choice of a complimentary draft beer or Bloody Mary. Pier 22 will also offer their delicious Father's Day Brunch Buffet and dinner specials.
