BRADENTON -- It's the weekend before Thanksgiving, so things are kind of slow, but that doesn't mean you can't get out and about locally. Kettle of Fish will return to Ace's Friday night, while the popular Robinson Preserve Wagon Rides return Saturday morning. Want to get out of town for some adventure? Join the dozens of Hurricane fans who will be hitting the road to support Manatee in week two of the playoffs. It's time for a Weekend Adventure in Bradenton!

Kettle of Fish has been rocking local stages for over a decade and this Friday night, the area's number one jam band returns to Ace's for what's sure to be a great show.

The band writes much of their own music and has a reputation as one of the best live acts in the area and the iconic Florida roadhouse in West Bradenton has always been a great venue to see why so many fans have remained loyal.

The Manatee Hurricanes came up just two wins short of a state title last season and this year, the 'Canes are the last team in the county that are still in post-season play. Manatee has moved up to 8A this season and struggled a bit in their playoff opener last Friday, a 34-28 win over Vero Beach at home.

This Friday the 'Canes head to Ft. Pierce Central where they will play the Cobras in the District 8 semi-final. Manatee routed Ft. Pierce last season, stepping onto their home turf and picking up a 51-0 victory. The Cobras will surely be looking for revenge in this week's big game.
