Freecoasters

From humble beginnings late in 2013, The Freecoasters have since performed more than 500 shows, embarked on multiple national and regional tours, and now produced two full-length albums.

The Freecoasters' second full-length album, "A Different Kind of Heat" will be released on March 12, 2021. Twelve tracks, plus three digital-only bonus tracks, highlight The Freecoasters' unique blend of reggae and American soul.

Like their debut album, "Show Up," from 2016, "A Different Kind of Heat," was produced by renowned performer and songwriter Jesse Wagner of the Aggrolites.

Dyer Davis

Listen to some live blues on the back porch! Dyer Davis is an American singer/guitarist, who released his debut album for WildRoots Records in February. He spent the last eight years of his life as a rock artist, recently departing from the band Rubber Soul Child. Now at 23, he has returned to the music that first inspired him to become a musician.

As a dynamic rock cover band, the Black Thorn Rose Band will be delivering the best upbeat tunes from the ’80s and ’90s, bringing the energy of iconic bands like AC/DC, Kiss, Queen, Bon Jovi, and many more to the stage.

Prepare to be transported back in time as they unleash the electrifying hits of Billy Idol, Def Leppard, Pat Benatar, Van Halen, and a range of other legendary artists. From headbanging anthems to classic rock ballads, their setlist has something for everyone.

We strive to fine-tune award-winning craft beer delivered to satisfy anyone’s palate. Our beers and service are performance-driven, the same as the Hudson service center housed in our brewery during the 1940s and 50s.

Passerine
Birdrock Taco Shack

Passerine is coming to the Birdrock Taco Shack this Saturday evening! The band’s distinctive sound combines the crisp rhythms of acoustic guitar, the haunting voices of the fiddle and dobro (resonator slide guitar), and the resonant lows of an acoustic bass with inventive vocal harmonies and songwriting. Supported by the sounds of acoustic strings, Passerine offers a fresh take on traditional folk and bluegrass music, as well as a repertoire of original songs that range from sweet ballads to the edgier side of contemporary Americana. No cover.

Located in Bradenton Florida's Village of the Arts, Birdrock Taco Shack is not your average taco joint, but a unique funky-fun taco spot and live music venue. Owner and chef David Shiplett (who also owns the popular Cottonmouth South Soul Kitchen) doesn't serve up just any tacos. Dave has worked as a Chef in San Francisco, San Diego, Sarasota, and now Bradenton. Dine inside the eclectic artsy shack or outdoors on the porch and back patio. Eric Von
Freckled Fin Irish Pub
Saturday: 7:30 pm-11:30 pm 

Country Rock, Island Style. Singer-songwriter Eric Von is a Nashville recording artist born and raised in Cortez, FL. Eric Started playing guitar and writing music at twelve, then began performing at fourteen, and has been Blessed to continue doing what he loves ever since.

Eric spent three years in Nashville, playing on Broadway and writing and recording his second CD. His song “I Can't Help But Smile” made it all the way to 64 on the Country Breakout Charts. He just released his third CD this year, a five-song EP. The video for the title track, “Be Mine for a Little While," can be found on YouTube. Eric now lives in Orlando and plays across the US, but the Gulf Coast is home, so he plays locally at least once a month. Come join the party, we guarantee you'll have a great time!

James Varnado Blues Jam
Cottonmouth

Join James Varnado as he hosts Cottonmouth’s Sunday "Jazz and Blues Open Jam." Born in New Orleans, James Varnado relocated to Florida’s Gulf Coast in 2006. The locally known and respected drummer has years of performances under his belt. Varnado has performed and toured with the likes of George Porter Jr (The Meters), Charmaine Neville (Neville Bros Family), Tab Benoit, Mem Shannon Blues Band, Jon Cleary, Dickey Betts (of the Allman Brothers), The Dixie Cups (Doo Wop), and has shared the stage with various local bands.


The venue's stable Sunday jam offers audiences something a bit more like a variety show, leading the jam with opening songs, and welcoming a rotation of other talented local guest musicians to join the stage. No cover.

Trevor Bystrom
Island Time Bar & Grill

Born and raised in Holmes Beach, Trevor Bystrom developed a passion for world music at an early age, falling in love first with the sounds of the Caribbean and later immersing himself in the work of a wide array of African artists. At sixteen, he began performing live and writing his own songs, blending folk, blues, rock, and reggae with an eclectic palette of international influences and wrapping it all up in lyrics calling for peace, understanding, and equality. No cover.

Island Time Bar and Grill is located on Anna Maria Island’s Bridge Street. Situated on the ground floor beneath the Bridge Street Bistro, Island Time Bar & Grill offers an open "no-walls" tropical indoor/outdoor beachside bar setting with welcoming gulf breezes. Their varied menu serves from their upstairs restaurant, Bridge Street Bistro, featuring fresh ingredients, surf-to-turf, and made-from-scratch recipes by chef Jimmy Lopatinski. Full bar, beachy cocktails, specialty, and classic margaritas, and cold beer!
