Anna Maria  Beach Cafe

Mike Sales' smooth, clear vocals, accompanied only by the rhythm of his electric guitar is best described as “chill”. Performing his tropical arrangements of eclectic best-selling cover songs and seamlessly weaving in his own originals...unpretentious, casual and crisp. 

Mike Sales is the singer you’ll want to include in your tranquil island vacation and your playlist when you return home. No cover.

Ben Prestage
Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen 
Friday - 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

Prestage cut his teeth performing in Florida fish camps, biker bars and tourist traps. After a stint as busker/street performer on historic Beale Street in Memphis, TN Ben emerged as one of world's top one-man-bands. After releasing a dozen albums, and touring across the US and more than a dozen countries, Ben Prestage continues to create music that "soars like a swamp hawk and wallows like an old bull gator."

The Nutcracker Presented by International  Ballet of  Florida 
Manatee Performing Arts Center

Under the artistic direction of Darya Fedotova and Sergiy Mykhaylov, The International Ballet of Florida will present “The Nutcracker Ballet," a Christmas tradition for the entire family. The original choreography is by Vadim Fedotov and is set to the music of Pyotor Tchaikovsky. International Ballet of Florida will join world famous dancers from the National Ballet of Ukraine, Lithuanian National Baller, Orlando National Ballet, and more. All will be on stage to tell the story of Clara’s magical adventure. This performance is a “must see” for young and old alike. A true holiday delight!

A Reggae Holiday with Rooster X-ing  & One Love Rising

Join us in the Village of the Arts for a night of Reggae music with a 2-band lineup.

Trevor’s Afro-Latin Funky Reggae project! Rooster X-ing and arrangement of world-class musicians bringing powerhouse harmonic Chants, Afro/Caribbean electric guitar riffs, rhythms crafted from decades of tradition with bass lines that sink deep into them, sprinkled with the melodic storytelling of improv saxophone/flute. A show that brings you on a journey through time, culture, and hopefully to the dance floor.

One Love Rising is a nationally touring Marley cover band which started out of Ybor City Tampa.

Located in Bradenton Florida's Village of the Arts,  Birdrock Taco Shack is not your average taco joint, but a unique funky-fun taco spot and live music venue. Owner and chef David Shiplett (who also owns the popular Cottonmouth South Soul Kitchen) doesn't serve up just any tacos. Dave has worked as a Chef in San Francisco, San Diego, Sarasota, and now Bradenton. Dine inside the eclectic artsy shack or outdoors on the porch and back patio. Great food, cool people... and TACOS! 1213 13th Avenue West, Bradenton.

The Divebombers
The Gulf Drive Cafe & Kokonut Hut
Saturday - 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

The Divebombers are made up of musician George Worthmore on electric guitar, Nat Langston on acoustic guitar, and Chad Clifford playing acoustic bass. The band performs music from the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Non-Fat Elvis, and more. Electric guitarist Worthmore is a New York Blues Hall of Fame and Suncoast Blues Challenge winner and 2017 International Blues Challenge semifinalist. The Divebombers are ""Toe tappin' knee slappin' foot-stompin' good ol' American music."" No cover.

About the venue:

The Gulf Drive Café was established in 1981 and has been a staple on Anna Maria Island for locals and tourists ever since. The current owners, George & Wendy Kokolis, purchased the historic property in 1987. The Kokolis’ extensive experience in the restaurant industry has expanded over 45 years. After celebrating over 20 years as owners, they decided to renovate and expand the Café into a bar, The Kokonut Hut and event space, The Sunset by Gulf Drive Café.
