BRADENTON — If you’re looking to finish off 2023 with live music and good times, then the 941 music scene has you covered this weekend! On New Year's Eve, two early shows will provide alternative options to the late night New Year’s crowds, or maybe some “pre-game” warm up jams! Big Top Brewing Company
Friday: 7-11 p.m.

Performing a catalog of songs from the full spectrum of genres and generations, a first-timer to a 22N show will no doubt be entertained simply by the transitions from one well-performed cover song to the unexpected next. From pop, country, rock, metal, disco, and Top 40, if you’ve heard it on the radio, they probably cover it. The high-energy five-piece clearly knows the worth of engaging the audience, evidenced by a packed dance floor and even a boisterous sing-a-long or two. Fronted by lead singer Kristen Lee, 22N utilizes backdrop screens and lighting effects to produce a concert-esque show whatever the venue–a beer garden, bar and restaurant, or club. Some artists covered include Bruno Mars, Pink, Adele, AC/DC, The Cult, Beastie Boys, Journey, Tom Petty, Maroon 5, Motley Crew, Prince, Def Leppard, Queen, Cranberries, and so, so many more! About the Venue:
Big Top Brewing Company is a Sarasota-based production brewery. Valuing their great town and its great history, they set out to add in great local beer. Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio return to the Tiki stage of Stottlemyer’s Smokehouse this weekend. An accomplished musician and songwriter and an authentic rock soul and blues powerhouse singer, Twinkle has worked with Aerosmith, Dickie Betts, Rod Stewart, Gregg Allman, and countless others. In the '90s, she was signed to Warner Brothers for her debut album Haunted by Real Life, produced by Patrick Leonard (Madonna, Roger Waters, Pink Floyd) where it gained ready attention on the jazz/pop charts for its title song. Twinkle is known for her strong, bluesy, Rock Soul Radio members are lead vocalist Twinkle, guitarist Lenny Brooks, bassist Tony LeClerc, and Benny Puckett on the drums. No Cover.

Located riverside, Caddy's Bradenton can be reached by foot from the nearby Riverwalk Park, by car, or by boat via the Manatee River. This pet-friendly tropical-themed venue has scenic riverside views, two large tiki huts, and an outdoor stage.  Join Steve Arvey this Friday at VOTA’s Birdrock! Arvey’s blues and cigar box guitar meets blues and boogie-woogie pianist Billy C. Wirtz and Captain Catfish. A trio combination sure to get ya movin’ and a great way to kick off the New Year’s weekend!

About the Venue
Located in Bradenton Florida's Village of the Arts, Birdrock Taco Shack is not your average taco joint, but a unique funky-fun taco spot and live music venue. Owner and chef David Shiplett (who also owns the popular Cottonmouth South Soul Kitchen) doesn't serve up just any tacos. Dave has worked as a Chef in San Francisco, San Diego, Sarasota, and now Bradenton. Dine inside the eclectic artsy shack or outdoors on the porch and back patio.  The Divebombers are made up of musician George Worthmore on electric guitar, Nat Langston on acoustic guitar, and Chad Clifford playing acoustic bass. The band performs music from the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Non-Fat Elvis, and more. Electric guitarist Worthmore is a New York Blues Hall of Fame and Suncoast Blues Challenge winner and 2017 International Blues Challenge semifinalist. The Divebombers are, "Toe tappin' knee slappin' foot-stompin' good ol' American music." No cover.

 About the Venue
Jiggs Landing Outpost is located inside the Manatee County Park Jiggs Landing. The outpost features a public boat ramp, fishing, cabin rentals, kayak and canoe rentals, bait shop, and small cafe–but they are also a live music venue! The outdoor venue is on the Evers Reservoir and Braden River with prime views of the sunset. Enjoy a beautiful natural venue in a historic area in the heart of East Manatee.  Rye Road has been rocking audiences up and down the Gulf Coast of Florida for over a decade. Their sound is a unique blend of new country and rock. The band features Pete Tamburin’s emotional vocals and country-influenced guitar, drummer Dan Garrido’s solid rhythms and amazing high harmonies, the energetic and booming bass lines of Bryant Crawford, and the soaring keyboards of Tim Meyer. East of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Stottlemyer’s Smokehouse is an open-air barbecue restaurant set under an expansive outdoor tiki hut, including an old-Florida style Tiki-bar. Established by the Stottlemyer family, the family-friendly restaurant and live music venue serves brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sandwiches, and salads in a unique atmosphere.
