Friday - 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Miami-raised Albert Castiglia served an apprenticeship while backing legendary blues musician Junior Wells. He later went on to work with singer Sandra Hall. Never content to allow himself to be confined to any particular category, he embarked on a solo career that’s yielded many critically-acclaimed albums and consist kudos for his exceptional instrumental prowess, his searing vocals, and live performances that have dazzled audiences from coast to coast. It’s little wonder that Miami’s New Times lauded him as South Florida’s “Best Blues Guitarist” or that USA Today was inspired to remark “It's a revelation to discover the thrilling retro-electric blues from this astonishing young guitarist.”

M Music & Musicians once noted, “His back-to-basics approach follows in the footsteps of those who fostered the blues in the Mississippi Delta and the smoky late-night haunts of Chicago.” After the highly successful and critically acclaimed release of Masterpiece on Gulf Coast Records, Castiglia was nominated for two Blues Music Awards in the categories of Blues Rock Album of the Year and Blues Rock Artist of the Year and won Blues Rock Album of the Year.

An early demo caught the ear of legendary pedal steel guitarist Doyle Grisham, a longtime member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, and their working relationship led to John's first album, “Into The Dawn.” His second release, “Shoreline,” showcases Frinzi's versatility as a songwriter and vocalist with many of the songs co-written by Tom Corcoran, co-writer of the Buffett classics,“Fins,” and “Cuban Crime of Passion". Most recently, John teamed up with multi-platinum songwriter and producer Aaron Scherz to release "Blue Sky View". Singles from all of these albums remain in regular rotation on Sirius/XM's Radio Margaritaville.

A seasoned live performer, Frinzi has toured nationally, performed in the Caribbean and Europe and has been featured at major festivals including Musikfest, The Keith Sykes Songwriters Celebration, Key West Songwriters Festival, Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival and has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Jesse Winchester, Mac McAnally, The Coral Reefer Band, Todd Snider and Maria Muldaur. Richard Gilewitz
Fogartyville
Sunday - 7:00 p.m.

Never one to settle for the boring or mundane, Richard Gilewitz surprises audiences with his hilariously eccentric vision of the world and its inhabitants alongside breathtaking fingerstyle artistry on the 6- and 12-string guitar. Named one of the top fingerstyle guitarists of all time, Richard invariably captivates listeners with uniquely emotional interpretations of romping knucklebusters and contemplative classical tunes reimagined for steel strings. He credits his ability to pull the deepest breath out of a tune to having studied for decades with a classical guitarist, who was himself taught by a violinist who played alongside Albert Einstein. That is Richard in a nutshell…unusual, unique, surprising, and a genius.

Tickets: $22 members; $26 not-yet-members; $12 students (13+)
