BRADENTON — It's another weekend, and you know what that means. If you guessed another great lineup of local, talented musicians in Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties, you would be correct. Justin Howl
3 Keys Brewing 
Friday - 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.

Justin Howl is an internationally touring blues and roots singer, songwriter, guitarist, and harmonica player based in Chicago, IL, USA. Blues Blast Magazine called him a "strong singer" whose tunes "will strike a chord with you. . . . and are intelligent throughout," in reviewing his debut album Justin Howl and the Salty Dogs. His second album, a solo acoustic project titled Wanderlust, was released in December 2020 and hailed by Music Connection Magazine as "wonderfully weird. . . . cool and vibey. . . . topped off by Howl’s warm and rangey vocal presence." No cover.

Trey Wanvig
Ginny's & Jane E's Bakery Cafe

Trey Wanvig is a 21-year-old blues rock guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from Sarasota, Florida. Performing in front of audiences since the age of 14, Trey leads a powerful band of locally based professional musicians and performs regularly in front of sold-out crowds at local venues.

Trey’s deep resume includes performing at blues and music festivals including the Waterfront Blues Festival (Portland, Oregon); Bradenton Blues Fest (Bradenton, Florida), Tall City Blues Fest (Texas); Dunedin Wines the Blues (Dunedin, Florida); Blues from The Top (Colorado); 
Giving Hunger the Blues (Sarasota, Florida).

Trey has performed alongside many great artists in the blues and blues rock world, including Eric Gales, Shemekia Copeland, Bob Margolin, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Annika Chambers, Janiva Magness, Toronzo Cannon, Paul DesLauriers, Shakura S'Aida, Biscuit Miller, Kenny Neal, Bryan Lee, Doug MacLeod, Ben Rice, Sarah Grace, Tas Cru, Gabe Stillman, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson.​  Cover $25.

We are located in the Historic City of Anna Maria, a quaint "Old Florida" area on the north end of Anna Maria Island. Our store is a unique collection of local art and unique finds.

Ship of Fools

Ship of Fools is a five piece classic rock band playing the music of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Cliff, Van Morrisson, Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, The Band, Talking Heads, Warren Zevon and others.

Formed in 2012 in Sarasota, Florida, Ship of Fools features soaring leads, driving rhythm and tight harmonies. The band performs improvisational rock and blues, blending folk, bluegrass, reggae, and traditional American music in a dynamic mix.

The Mable Bar & Grill is located right off Tamiami Trail.  They offer over 30 different taps. Free WI-FI is available. Tuesday nights is open mic nights and Wednesday nights are trivia nights. 

Bradenton Cigar Box Festival
The Village of the Arts

The 4th Annual Bradenton Cigar Box Festival is a celebration of cigar box guitars and the unique music that they produce. Originating in the Village of the Arts where it pairs with a Village wide Artwalk, a perfect setting for live music, workshops, and vendors selling handmade cigar box guitars and related accessories, this event offers an opportunity for enthusiasts and musicians to come together to appreciate the artistry and creativity associated with these unique instruments.

At the festival, visitors can expect to see an amazing variety of cigar box guitars on display with the makers, as well as a range of other homemade and artisanal instruments. Workshops may be offered to teach attendees how to build their own cigar box guitars or how to play these unique instruments. Additionally, live performances by musicians who specialize in playing cigar box guitars are often a highlight of the event.

If you're considering attending the Bradenton Cigar Box Festival, you can look forward to a day or weekend filled with live music, interactive workshops, and the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow enthusiasts and artists. Venue: BRADENTON’S BEER GARDEN AND TAPROOM - Join us for a lovely afternoon or evening in our famous Beer Garden under a 150-year-old oak tree or enjoy our Taproom that is full of our great beers, wine, spirits, and cocktails.

We strive to fine-tune award-winning craft beer delivered to satisfy anyone’s palate. Our beers and service are performance-driven, the same as the Hudson service center housed in our brewery during the 1940s and 50s.

Based on weather conditions, Live Music may be performed in the Taproom.

Oscura Brunch Series: Andy Brey

Andy Brey is an emerging acoustic-folk-pop crooner whose original music is primed with compelling lyrics and a surprisingly 21st century southern gothic schizoid vibe.

His musical roots sink deep into the hills of New England while his unique vocal style is infused with the bright rays of Florida sunshine. As an adept six-string flatpicker and mandolinist, his live shows are not just any ordinary candy-colored folksy kitsch.

Based out of Tampa, he has performed for years as an auxiliary sideman with several of the areas best known Americana-Roots acts. No cover; tips appreciated.

Performances at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
