Hymn For Her
CafŽ in the Park
Friday: 7-9 p.m.
Hymn For Her has toured across the country and abroad over the years, injecting juiced-up backwoods country blues with a dose of desert rock psychedelia that has been described as "Hell’s Angels meets the Amish," and "Hillbillies with electronics opening Pandora's Box." The beloved duo, comprised of Lucy Tight and Wayne Waxing, deliver listeners folk songs with a deep roots vibe. Their instrumentation, while simple, is the perfect backing to Lucy's moving vocals and Waxing's tight harmonies. You won't want to miss Hymn For Her, Friday, as they return to the CafŽ in the Park stage. No cover.

Located in Payne Park, Downtown Sarasota, Cafe in the Park captures the spirit of a quintessential urban cafŽ terrace. It's the perfect place for great coffee, a fresh sandwich, and live music. Blues to Blackstreet, fronted by female vocalist and guitarist June Eysel, offers wide-ranging appeal to their audiences. As their name denotes, their style is eclectic, from one end of the genre spectrum to the other–with a little bit of everything in-between. The band is known for its ever-diverse blend of jazz and soul with performances of rock, reggae, blues, and pop. The sultry vocal stylings of Eysel complement the band’s broad portfolio. No cover.

Located in one of the oldest fishing villages in the United States, the Cortez Kitchen is a top destination for locals and tourists alike. Named for the body of water it sits on and known by locals as "the kitchen" due to its bountiful supply of fish and seafood, visitors love the laid-back Florida feel of Cortez Kitchen as well as the live music every weekend. Gilligan’s Island Bar

The Monsoons are a Sarasota-based party band blending the funkiness of New Orleans with good old rock n' roll. Drummer Pat McDonald spent nearly two decades touring with the world-famous Charlie Daniels Band. Lead guitarist and vocalist Steve Junot is a seasoned musician from New Orleans who toured internationally with a zydeco band, as well as having performed countless solo shows. Bassist and vocalist Chris Guertin boasts a career that has taken him to over 90 countries as the music director of cruise ships while also having performed as either band member or special guest bassist and vocalist in several locally favored bands. The three members form an experienced and professional trio, toss in their brand of charm and humor, and together the three create the perfect conditions for a good time. No cover.

Founded in 2001, Gilligan’s Island Bar prides itself on serving quality food, cocktails, and great service. The venue hosts live music on its front deck, and offers back patio seating, a tiki bar, and a fire pit for cooler nights. Devin Neel & Friends
Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen

Devin Neel & Friends is an Americana folk group born during the pandemic. Neel–who may be better known for his performances as a drummer–picked up a different instrument (a ukulele) while home during the pandemic. Neel began experimenting and discovering new ways to share his music, but also a new and unexpected way to make music with a uke.
As a drummer, Neel had the pleasure of playing up and down the west coast of Florida with a seemingly endless list of local talent over the past 20 years. Among others, he has performed and toured with locally known artists such as Damon Fowler and Doug Deming. Neel's latest musical endeavors are focused mainly on songwriting and performing his original material. Whether playing solo or with a band, Neel brings a unique and soulful approach with his take on American roots and folk music.

Located in Bradenton Village of the Arts, Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen has quickly become one of Bradenton, Florida’s more popular outdoor music venues. Music is hosted on their intimate 80-seat capacity patio garden, a perfect setting under the branches of towering live oaks in the heart of VOTA. Known for his eclectic southern dining, Chef Dave Shiplett puts his creative spin on southern classics serving up his brand of southern soul food in this 100-year-old cottage that doubles as an art gallery. Clover’s Revenge brings a mix of two Irish musical traditions: acoustic pub music & Celtic punk rock. Utilizing simple instrumentation, the trio creates an explosive sound, with detailed harmonic lines, complex rhythms, and provocative original lyrics. Steeped? – no, their Irish speed folk is pickled in the traditions of the Dubliners, Pogues, Silly Wizard, and Flogging Molly. The band insists upon high-speed, technical traditional tunes and punk rock badassery. Featuring Beau Wilberding's percussion on the Cajon drum, Zach Johnson on guitar and vocals, and John Barron on vocals, mandolin, and guitar. High energy, high fun. No cover.

Located in Downtown Bradenton, McCabe's Irish Pub is one of Old Main Street’s must-stop watering holes. The venue provides an authentic atmosphere of the traditional Irish Pub-lic gathering place with a wide selection of beer and spirits. The Irish-owned and operated neighborhood pub hosts live music that stays compatible with a pub environment intended to support community gathering and socializing. The Dr. Dave Band is a high-energy country and classic rock band. They’ve received five Reader's Choice Awards–including 2021 Reader's Choice Best Local Musical Group/Performer– for their feel-good, make ya’ smile performances. Band leader Dr. Dave plays guitar, electric fiddle, and banjo. Dr. Dave describes their music as "Kick-grass country-rock." No cover.

Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub is in Bradenton off Cortez Rd. Clancy’s is known for its bar-fare food, full liquor bar, live entertainment, and, most of all – fun! Motorworks Brewing Company

Join Ship of Fools for another Sunday-Funday show at Motorworks! Ship of Fools is a popular local Grateful Dead tribute band, formed in 2012 in Sarasota, Florida. The five-piece classic rock band also performs music by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Cliff, Van Morrison, Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, The Band, Talking Heads, Warren Zevon, and more. Their fans appreciate their soaring leads, driving rhythm, and tight harmonies. Ship of Fools performs improvisational rock and blues, blending folk, bluegrass, and reggae, into a dynamic mixed sound, and performs at various venues and festivals locally. Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones play traditional blues, West Coast and Texas swing, and early '50s roots rock. Deming is an American blues and roots guitarist/vocalist, earning a Blues Blast Music Award nomination for Best Blues Band in 2013 and 2019. They also reached No. 3 on Billboard’s blues albums chart for their 2018 recordComplicated Mess. Accompanied by bassist Andrew Goham (formerly of the Bottom Feeders), and percussionist Zack Pomerleau (a seasoned musician born and raised in Auburn, Maine), this trio is rockin' rhythm & blues. No cover.

Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones

Sunday: 5-8 p.m.
If you are looking to wrap up your weekend with a party, then this show is for you. 22N plays music from the full spectrum of genres and generations. From pop, country and rock to metal, disco, and Top 40, if you’ve heard it on the radio, they probably play it. 22N is a high-energy group made of five musicians including a female lead singer. The group utilizes video screens and effect lighting to amplify their show. Some artists they cover include Bruno Mars, Pink, Adele, AC/DC, The Cult, Beastie Boys, Journey, Tom Petty, Maroon 5, Motley Crew, Prince, Def Leppard, Queen, Cranberries, and so, so many more! Cover $15.

88 Live Piano Bar is one of Bradenton’s newest live entertainment hot spots. Steeped in ambiance, the 5000-square-foot venue has already hosted some of the area’s finest musicians and entertainers to sold-out shows.
