Alex Lopez is an acclaimed guitarist, prolific songwriter and emerging artist recognized for his electrifying live performances. Critics have said he is "capable of revitalizing the blues for a new generation" and he is quickly taking the blues/rock scene by storm.

Alex's 2021 release written and recorded in the midst of the pandemic was the blues rocker "Rising up" which went to top ten on the Billboard charts...receiving outstanding reviews and recognition the album solidified Alex's position as blues rock force to be reckoned with and one of it's rising stars...

Unable to tour due to the pandemic shutdown Alex continue working in the studio with stunning results.

Released in 2022, one of top the blues/rock albums of the year "Nasty Crime" which was #1 on the blues/rock radio charts and hailed by critics as a tremendous accomplishment. With the retirement of his long time keyboardist, Alex and his band moved into a new direction staying with a 3-piece format. With this new muscular and straight forward approach Alex and his band (now named ALX short for Alex Lopez Xpress) decided to re-enter the studio to record their most daring album to date the pure blues/rock album "Looking for a Change" due our Oct 27th 2023.
