BRADENTON — It's another weekend, and you know what that means. If you guessed another great lineup of local, talented musicians in Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties, you would be correct. Armed with a saxophone, keyboard and incredible vocals, Pamela K. Ward has a stage show that is nothing short of electrifying. Performing on stage since the age of two, Pamela has a lifetime entertaining audiences at fairs, festivals and events across the country...and she may be a farm girl from the sticks in Arkansas, but she carries a big sax, has some big pipes and at 4'11" and 100 pounds...she's proof that big things come in small packages.

Rye Road

Rye Road has been rocking audiences up and down the Gulf Coast of Florida for over a decade. Their sound is a unique blend of new country and rock. The band features Pete Tamburin’s emotional vocals and country-influenced guitar, drummer Dan Garrido’s solid rhythms and amazing high harmonies, the energetic and booming bass lines of Bryant Crawford, and the soaring keyboards of Tim Meyer. Catchy, accessible melodies under lyrics that everyone can relate to. No cover.

Trevor Bystrom Trio w/ Percy Abain
Birdrock Taco Shack

Trevor Bystrom is known for his multi-cultural sound, which blends elements from many genres, including world, rock, reggae, latin, and blues. He and his band create world melodies and afro-rhythms using many unique instruments from a wide range of cultures, including flute, violin, didgeridoo, ngoni, weissenborn slide guitar, and world percussion.
 
The group fuses sounds and rhythms from around the globe to create memorable songs with captivating instrumentation and inspirational lyrics. The band's original music largely centers around current and persisting social and environmental issues. It acts as a call for listeners to break their acceptance of the status quo and become individual ripples for positive change in the world. Their message appeals to a sense of communal responsibility, protection of the earth and all living beings, and a movement towards sustainable living.

Located in Bradenton Florida's Village of the Arts,  Birdrock Taco Shack is not your average taco joint, but a unique funky-fun taco spot and live music venue. Speak Your Truth Music Festival
Motorworks Brewing

In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, the "Speak Your Truth" Music Festival will be bringing together an eclectic mix of rock, pop-punk, rap, hip hop, and more for music and fun.

The festival will be working in conjunction with The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Central Florida, to bring people together for an event where they can also learn more about recognizing the signs of depression, stress and suicide with on site resources available to help.

The AFSP will also offer one on one and practical help from a location set up at the event. Indie, pop-punk, rock, hip hop and rap and more with 15 Florida bands plus two national bands, "of Montreal" and "He is Legend" will be performing.

Tickets are currently on sale and we expect up to 1,000 attendees throughout the day.

We strive to fine-tune award-winning craft beer delivered to satisfy anyone’s palate. Our beers and service are performance-driven, the same as the Hudson service center housed in our brewery during the 1940s and 50s.

Cassie Jean and the Fireflies

Cassie Barbaresi was born in Texas and it shows. Her songwriting and storytelling remind you of the finest Texas traditions--especially when it comes to breaking the rules. She boldly shares her ideas, her experiences, and her deepest feelings, and she won't hesitate to let each song take us where it wants to go.

With a voice that is sweet and soulful, and deceptively powerful, Cassie is a captivating performer and guitarist.

Cassie is a former D1 soccer player and three-time All American. Now a mother of three, she won't hesitate to suit up and take center mid every chance she gets. And she brings the intensity of an elite athlete to her music career.

Rich Odato is a singer-songwriter and lead guitarist. Born in Pittsburgh and raised on steel-town blues, classic rock, Motown, and R&B, Rich plays acoustic, electric, and resonator guitars, and supports the songwriting with his melodies and arrangement skills.

Rich is a survivor of the hair band era, but folky fingerpicking and blues rock have been constants in his repertoire. In live shows, he loves to go full jam band mode with his custom strat, "Goldfinger." 

Together, they make up Cassie Jean and the Fireflies.  No cover.

John Bastiani (Str8 Edge Duo)

Since re-locating to Sarasota in 2018, John Bastiani has been performing extensively doing solo acoustic shows as well as an acoustic duo and five piece band. Along with Julie Van Loan, their duo, 'STR8 EDGE DUO is a great mix of songs from Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Tom Petty, Clapton. Lady Gaga, to Amy Winehouse.

With his feet planted firmly in the blues, John brings that style to his acoustic work. Storytellers like Bob Dylan and Harry Chapin have always been an influence. Never one to cover a song exactly like the original, John likes to change songs up and put his own spin both vocally and on the guitar. No cover.

Memphis Lightning

Taylor Opie is a full time musician based in Sarasota, FL. Opie specializes in songwriting, performing, and studio recording. She comes from a family of artists, and music was always at the forefront of her upbringing. She writes authentic and vulnerable music that people can connect to. Aside from playing out regularly, she's currently focused on building up the original music scene in Sarasota, alongside the brilliant community of musicians that she's lucky enough to call her friends.
