USMC Veteran, beloved family man, formerly of Convent Station
William Baxter Campbell, 84, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on August 31, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

William lived in Maplewood, New Jersey, Great Falls, Virginia and Convent Station, New Jersey before retiring to Bradenton, Florida.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Terry (Martino) Campbell, his brother, Donald Campbell( Dee); his sister, Blanche Campbell; his daughters Ann Piacesi (Chris) and Jenni Gilray (Jake); his son, Thomas Campbell (Sarah); and his cherished grandchildren, Lisa (Eli), Joseph, Faith, Grace, Campbell, and Lily, and his faithful dog Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Thomas Campbell and Dorothy Baxter Campbell; his step-mother, Louise Campbell Loftus; and his granddaughter, Paige Leigh Campbell.

Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for 10 years, a testament to his dedication and service to his country. His academic pursuits led him to earn a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University followed by an MBA from George Washington University, equipping him with the knowledge and skills that propelled his successful career in the communications industry.

Bill will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of dedication, both in his professional and personal life, will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A celebration of life will be held on January 18th at 11am at St. Bernard's Church, 248 S Harbor Dr, Holmes Beach FL. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice at the following: www.tidewellfoundation.org/donate
