William Francis Reilly, age 88, of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22 2022, surrounded by his loving sons and daughters.
He was born in Chicago IL to Cecilia and Tom Reilly, predeceased by his brothers Tom, and John, and survived by his sister Rita.
William also known as Honey, Dad, Pops, Grampa, Uncle and "Just Plain Bill" was married to Doris for 37 years. They loved their Florida home, family, and friends. After Doris passed in 2011 Bill was blessed to find love and companionship again with a longtime devoted friend, Ora Jean Petrus AKA, OJ. Family and friends were delighted. His daughters teased him over the wonder that "Just Plain Bill“ landed the most popular girl in the neighborhood, not once but twice.
This dear man of few words will be forever missed by his sons, Dan, Matt, Billy, his daughters Sharon, Cindy, Shawn, Pam, and Dawn. His grandchildren; Britton, Stephen, Scottie, Bobby, Anthony, Melissa, Joey, Brian, Jessica, and Elizabeth. He leaves behind 12 beautiful great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His memory and legacy lives on forever through all those who knew and loved him.
