Wynona Ruth Bosley Shelton (Ruthie) 87 peacefully went to be with her Lord on 6/20/2025 at Creekside Rehabilitation Center, Sarasota, FL. Ruthie was born 8/8/1937 to the late George and Dovie Bosley in Morral Ohio.
Ruthie is survived by her husband of 42 years Dean M Shelton Sarasota, Florida and Mark and Candy Rinnert Palmetto Florida. Preceded her in death were her brother George Jr and sister-in-law Maxine Bosley.
Ruthie graduated from Morral high school 1955 and from Bluffton College in 1972. She was an elementary school teacher at Grand Prairie for years, then went into business with her brother George and his wife Maxine at the Jersey dairy bar Marion, Ohio.
Ruthie loved music, playing the piano and singing in the church choir. Throughout her years, she belonged to many organizations. After retirement, they moved permanently to Sarasota, Florida.
Ruthie loved making Angel pins and giving them away to her friends over the years.
Ruthie was a member of the Methodist church in Venice, Florida.
Dean and Ruth love to travel and she loved her Pomeranian puppies.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, at 2:00pm,.at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72 (Clark Road), Sarasota, FL 34241.
