Two More School District Employees Suspended over ERP Scandal

Posted
BRADENTON – The number of Manatee County School District employees to have been suspended over the scandal-ridden ERP program rose to three this week, with the project's manager and the district’s chief information officer added to the list.

Manatee School District CIO Rob Malloy and ERP project manager Angie Oxley joined Deputy Superintendent Ron Ciranna on paid leave while the district continues to investigate unauthorized payments and scope expansion for the project.

The massive human resources software integration went live July 1, more than a year and a half behind schedule. Its costs have more than doubled from the original price tag promised by former superintendent Dianna Greene, and it is still riddled with bugs causing paycheck, benefit and purchasing errors in the first weeks of the new school year.
