BRADENTON --  The Todd Wolfe Band resumes their "Miles To Go" tour in support of their critically-acclaimed album of the same name, bringing their rock-tinged, blues-adelic sounds to Bradenton for a concert at Ace's Live on Cortez Road this Sunday, February 23.

The band is fronted by longtime guitar ace Todd Wolfe, who is known for his lead guitar work with Sheryl Crow's band during the 1990s, and with that of Carla Olson (Textones) and Leslie West (Mountain), among others, throughout his stellar career. Wolfe has released seven albums since 1999 and has written songs for acts as diverse as country star Faith Hill and renowned jam band, Phish.

The band just returned from yet another road trip—four tours in 2013 alone, totalling close to 40,000 miles from the Czech Republic to San Francisco—and received year-end accolodes, including a "Best Band" nomination from Rockwired Magazine.

Their 2013 album "Miles To Go" (American Showplace Music), represents another music milestone in Wolfe's storied career. The record's ten tracks run the gamut from straight blues to post-classic rock, each featuring Wolfe's uniquely rockin' soulful vocals. Guest performers on "Miles To Go" include noteworthy blues harpist Steve Guyger, and organ ace John Ginty.

Blues Rock Review said the album"has a deep bluesy soul with a tinge of Southern rock and a psychedelic vibe," while calling it "a powerful sonic experience." Don't miss your chance to see them for free at West Bradenton's original roadhouse.
