Clerk of Court Closes to the Public

BRADENTON – On Wednesday, the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller transferred all services from the Historic Courthouse to the Manatee County Judicial Center. Late Friday afternoon, it announced it was closed to the public over concerns related to the coronavirus.

Assistance will be available for domestic violence, violence protection, baker act, marchman act, and emergency family issues. All other matters need to be taken care of online atwww.manateeclerk.com, by mail, or by calling: (941) 749-1800.

"While these changes may be difficult for some, with coronavirus being such an unknown and constantly changing situation at this time, please know that my focus is on the community’s well-being as well as the health of my employees," said Angel Colonneso, Clerk of the Court in a press release.
