Regardless of “doing as they were told” -Arana and Grubbs should also have charges filed against them, since they clearly knew that they were signing as a witness when they actually weren’t. Citizens should also be looking at ALL the streamlined processes and the reorganization of government that Hopes has put into place because these changes have made everything less transparent to citizens. Every handpicked department head chosen by Hopes is questionable because of their continued actions- which are clearly NOT in the public’s best interest. Those employees that were “let go” should be reinterviewed so that the public is aware of the actual reasons they were fired. We need to clean house and pull the corruption out by the roots. Van Ostenbridge’s selection of Hopes and the continued bad decisions of commissioners will cost citizens millions of dollars.
