Richard Anthony Morand, age 84, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 26, 2022, in Bradenton, FL.
Richard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Chicago, one of six children. After graduating from Arlington Heights, H.S. he joined the Navy and served for 6 years. After his Military Service, he met his wife of 58 years, Linda, at work in Barrington, IL. Richard was a "Culligan Man", installed water conditioning systems for many years in Chicago. In the early 80s they relocated to Bradenton, FL where he worked at Aqua Soft doing the same. Linda and Richard lived in The Gardens retirement community of Parrish, FL for many years. He was a dependable, kind, loving, provider for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Anthony (Cheryl) and Gary (Kristie) and 3 grandchildren, Eric, Brian (Mary Katie) and Jennifer.
Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St. W, Bradenton, FL 34209. The Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12001 69th St. E, Parrish, FL 34219.
