20th Annual Goblin Gathering at GT Bray Park this Friday

BRADENTON – Celebrate Halloween at the 20th Annual Goblin Gathering at G.T. Bray Park this Friday, October 14 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Spooktacular outdoor event is family-friendly fun for all ages. Local businesses will be passing out "treats and sweets" to excited attendees. There will be decorations, activities, and costume contests for children and families. Food trucks will also be on site.

Event entry and trick-or-treating are free. Wristbands are required to access the hay maze, bounce houses, inflatable slides, or for face painting.

Wristbands are $5.00 and are available for purchase at the GT Bray Rec Center front desk from 5:30 AM through 7 PM the night of the event.

Judging for the costume contest will begin at 6:30 p.m. Event-goers interested in entering the contest should sign up at the amphitheater stage near the dog park between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m.

Costume Contest Judging Categories:
  • 1 year and under
  • 2 to 4 years old
  • 5 to 8 years old
  • 9 and older
  • Families
Three contest winners will be chosen from each category.



G.T. Bray Park is located at 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West in Bradenton. Visitors may access GT Bray Park from 59th Street West or 51st Street West and are asked to park near the Recreation Center off 33rd Ave Drive West. No event parking is available in the park entrance at 51st Street.
