Allegiant Adds Two New Destinations from St. Pete/Clearwater (PIE)

CLEARWATER —  Allegiant announced new service from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to Evansville, Indiana, and McAllen, Texas this week.

“We are excited to launch the only nonstop service between PIE and these two markets,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer. “Florida continues to prove itself as a top destination for leisure travelers. We expect customers will enjoy our unique brand of travel: affordable, all nonstop flights without the hassle of layovers or connections.”

The new routes from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) include:

  • Evansville, Indiana via Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) – beginning June 13, 2024.
  • McAllen, Texas via McAllen International Airport (MFE) – beginning June 14, 2024.

“We look forward to welcoming Evansville and surrounding southern Indiana, Illinois, and Northern Kentucky communities to convenient non-stop flights to St. Pete-Clearwater!” said St. Pete-Clearwater Int’l Airport Director Tom Jewsbury. Jewsbury continued, “With new service to McAllen, Texas, the stunning beaches of St. Pete-Clearwater and the Rio Grande of McAllen will offer a great exchange for nature photographers and bird lovers to enjoy the beauty of these diverse areas.”

The new flights will operate up to twice weekly. Flight days, times, and limited-time promotional fares can be found at Allegiant.com.
