Artists Sought for Iron Artist Throwdown on AMI

ANNA MARIA ISLAND -- VMI Media Group and Artspace Anna Maria are looking for local artists to participate in our first ever Iron Artists Throwdown. On the evening of Friday, November 1, artists from across the region will descend on Anna Maria Island to show off their talents and abilities in a break-neck creative competition in the vein of Iron Chef. Teams of 2-3 artists are invited to participate both as individual artists, and in the name of local galleries.

Starting with a “Pantry” of your 10 go to art supplies, a secret ingredient will be unveiled the day of the competition for the artists to create their piece within a 45-minute window of time. Keeton’s Office & Art Supply will provide base supplies for the competition. 

The winner of the competition will be featured on the Spring cover of The Village Magazine, a regional creative-culture lifestyle publication found online at www.thevillagemagazine.net
