BRADENTON - At Wednesday's meeting, the Bradenton City Council unanimously approved the annexation of a parcel of land at 48th Street Court East,from Manatee County into the city. The council also unanimously approved a first reading of an ordinance that would amend sections of the BPD pension system. Councilman Bemis Smith was absent from the meeting.
