BRADENTON -- High pressure remains in place over the eastern Gulf and the coastal waters through the weekend. Sea breezes will develop near the coast each afternoon with winds and seas remaining below highlight criteria through the forecast period.
Thursday
West winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms. Thursday night will bring southwest winds around 5 knots becoming southeast after midnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.
Friday
Southeast winds around 10 knots becoming west in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning then scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
