BRADENTON -- High pressure remains in place over the eastern Gulf and the coastal waters through the weekend. Sea breezes will develop near the coast each afternoon with winds and seas remaining below highlight criteria through the forecast period.

Thursday

West winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms. Thursday night will bring southwest winds around 5 knots becoming southeast after midnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Friday

Southeast winds around 10 knots becoming west in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning then scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. Friday night will bring wind variable less than 5 knots becoming southeast around 5 knots in the late evening and overnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Saturday

Southeast winds around 5 knots becoming northwest late in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning then scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. Saturday night will bring northwest winds around 5 knots becoming east in the late evening and overnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Sunday

Southeast winds around 5 knots becoming west 10 knots late in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning then scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
