Cheryl "Rayvone" Davis, 54, of Parrish, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

Born April 28, 1968, in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late David C. King, Sr. and Bobby J. Arrington. Known to everyone as Rayvone; she was educated in the Rensselaer Public School System. She worked at Lexus Nexus. After retiring, she relocated to Parrish, Fl. She was baptized at St. Mary's and was a faithful member until her sudden passing. She loved her grandchildren, the beach, and her dog. She had a passion for helping people, and spending time feeding the homeless. She enjoyed shopping at the Red Barn, and thrift stores with her daughters. She had a flare for entertaining and you knew she was having a good time when you heard her say, "YEAHHHH BABBYYYY!" Her spirit will remain alive in all the things she loved; her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her dog, parties, shopping, the beach, bone-in fish, holidays, candles, butterflies, and the color red.

She will be remembered and missed by the family who meant everything to her; her husband, Troy A Davis, Sr; her daughters, NyQuesia (William P. IV) VanHouter and Qua’ Nesha White; her son, Troy A. Davis, Jr.; her grandchildren, Da’Mazion VanHouter, William P. VanHouter V, Na’Zyi VanHouter, Jo’Leyla VanHouter, A’Connie VanHouter, Anthony Davis, and Christopher Murkerson, Jr. and her sixteen siblings and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel, 5200 US Hwy 19N, Palmetto from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St Mary’s Missionary Baptist, 11801 Erie Road, Parrish, FL, 34219 at 11 am.

The family requests a kind act to celebrate Rayvone by helping someone in need or feeding the homeless.
