BRADENTON –A public meeting has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday night to gather input on the possible creation of an environmental preserve on City-owned property located along Ware’s Creek in Bradenton.
The meeting will take place at the Ballard Elementary School auditorium, 912 18th St. W.
Ward 3 Councilman Patrick Roff and Planning Director Tim Polk will host the meeting. Councilman Roff described the potential environmental preserve as a public area with access to the creek for canoeing, kayaking, fishing or just enjoying open, green space along Ware’s Creek.
The land is across the creek from Ballard Elementary.
