Starbucks plans to build a 2,500-square-foot facility with a drive-thru after demolishing the vacant SunTrust Bank facility that currently resides on the site.

Concerns over potential traffic impacts were expressed during Wednesday's Bradenton City Council meeting.

Council members voted unanimously to approve a special use permit with assurances from staff that traffic concerns would be addressed during the approval process.
