Coming Soon: Parrish Marshalls and West Bradenton Starbucks

BRADENTON — Marshalls will open a new store at Creekside Commons in Parrish on November 16. Meanwhile, the Bradenton City Council approved the permit for a Starbucks on the southeast corner of Manatee Avenue and 75th Street West.

With over 1,100 stores in 48 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico, Marshall's is one of the nation's leading off-price retailers. The company says it plans to add approximately 60 full and part-time jobs. Creekside Commons is located at 8830 US 301 North.

"Our newest store in Parrish will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for," said company president Tim Miner. "We’re excited to bring this experience and exceptional values from fashion and beauty to home and more to a new neighborhood,” “With thousands of new items delivered to our stores every day, we strive to provide our shoppers with amazing brands every time they shop."

Starbucks plans to build a 2,500-square-foot facility with a drive-thru after demolishing the vacant SunTrust Bank facility that currently resides on the site.

Concerns over potential traffic impacts were expressed during Wednesday's Bradenton City Council meeting.

Council members voted unanimously to approve a special use permit with assurances from staff that traffic concerns would be addressed during the approval process.
